Federal Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education Islamabad is the academic board which has the responsibility to conduct matric and intermediate level exams from the students of schools and colleges located in Federal Capital Islamabad and cantonment areas all around the country. Apart from that, FBISE also conducts SSC and HSSC level exams from Pakistani students living abroad. Therefore, it is a very important educational board of Pakistan. Federal Board organizes SSC part 1 annual exams and SSC part 2 annual exams during the months of March and April while HSSC part 1 annual exams and HSSC part 2 annual exams are conducted by the board during the months of May and June. Thousands of matric and intermediate level students participate in these exams every year while all the public and private schools and colleges in Islamabad and cantonment areas are affiliated with FBISE.
